I was the cinematographer and editor for this short film. ————————————————————————————————— Soul~Mates” is a drama/comedy short film produced by BRIGHTMOSS. Written by Macy Jacob and Elle Birdsell,”Soul~Mates” tells a story of a young woman’s mental illness and recovery. After the death of her mother, Molly, an artist struggling with her mental health, begins to contemplate suicide. In an effort to connect with someone -or something - she begins talking to a spirit named Helen through a Ouija board. The two create an unlikely bond that gives Molly a new perspective.

Sam wakes up to realize her arm has been replaced by an imposter. Hosted at Huntington Recital Hall at Capital University for a special Bexley Public Library conversation with Pulitzer Prize–winning composer, performer, and installation artist Raven Chacon—interviewed by Christopher Purdy, early morning host of WOSU Classical 101, and host/producer of Front Row Center, Music in Mid-Ohio, Concerts at Ohio State, and the Columbus Symphony broadcast series. This conversation explores Chacon’s music, Pulitzer Prize, and creative life, followed by an audience Q&A. A Diné artist from Fort Defiance, Navajo Nation, Chacon earned degrees from University of New Mexico and California Institute of the Arts and was a member of Postcommodity (2009–2018), with work presented internationally and held in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, National Museum of the American Indian, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. In 2022, he received the Pulitzer Prize in Music for Voiceless Mass; his opera Sweet Land, co-composed with Du Yun, was named 2021 Opera of the Year by the Music Critics Association of North America.
